Timberline Lodge was recently awarded the 2013 “Sustainability Champion Award” by Historic Hotels of America. Timberline Lodge was recognized for their “best practices” in the areas of collaborative environmental stewardship and historic preservation, outreach involving guests in sustainability initiatives, and for their recent partnering and sustainability certification work with Sustainable Travel International, Travel Oregon Forever, and The Natural Step.
